What is pont de levallois?

Pont de Levallois is a bridge that spans across the River Seine in the northwest suburbs of Paris, France. It connects the towns of Levallois-Perret and Neuilly-sur-Seine, two of the wealthiest districts in the Paris metropolitan area.

The bridge measures about 240 meters (787 feet) in length and 30 meters (98 feet) in width, and it has six lanes for vehicular traffic. It was opened in 1961 and named after the neighboring town of Levallois-Perret.

Pont de Levallois was designed by the French architect Pierre Szekely and built by the construction company Campenon Bernard. It is known for its distinctive shape, which resembles an airplane wing, as well as its spectacular nighttime illumination.

The bridge has undergone several renovations over the years, including the addition of a pedestrian walkway and bicycle lanes in 2008 to promote alternative modes of transportation. It is a popular spot for tourists to catch glimpses of the Eiffel Tower and other famous Parisian landmarks along the Seine.
